Description
The Great Bear Rainforest, and its adjacent waters, cover British Columbia's mainland coast from Knight Inlet to the Alaskan border.  Its coastal watersheds are home to threatened grizzlies and wolves and its water's are home to whales, dolphins and other marine mammals.  This map shows the efforts to improve scientific understanding of marine and terrestrial species through genetic, population, and habitat studies.
