Toronto, ON - Canadian geographic information system (GIS) software leader ESRI Canada is pleased to announce a new Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) Program that allows unlimited deployments of ESRI ArcGIS software for small municipal governments in Canada. The program provides access to the GIS technology small municipal governments need with a straightforward, tiered pricing schedule.
Small municipal governments in Canada range greatly in size, organizational structure and resources. Despite their differences, they are all faced with doing more with less and responding to increasing demands of their citizens. "The ability to provide enterprise wide access to GIS technology where and when it is needed will provide many benefits to municipal governments," said Alex Miller, President, ESRI Canada. "We are pleased to help municipal governments expand their GIS programs and services so that they can save time, become more efficient, and reduce costs." The ELA Program is open to all municipal governments in Canada with populations of 100,000 or less. Benefits to these organizations include:
The core technology for the ELA is ESRI's ArcGIS software, which is an open and interoperable technology platform that provides advanced visualization and cartographic capabilities, spatial analysis, geographic data management, and more. ArcGIS Software is a complete system to author, serve, and use geographic information. The technology provides geographic information to those who need it, including analysts, decision makers, field staff, and the public, through its support of mobile, Web, and desktop solutions.
