Description
James English's hazard map is an example of a model that measures the potential effects of river flooding in Peterbourgh Ontario.  In 2004 Peterborough experienced major flooding throughout the urban core with devastating impacts.  Studying and mapping potential hazards and determining action plans for possible events provides decision makers with the ability to act swiftly and responsibly to negate human and financial loss.
