The maps featured in September were created by students at Western Technical School as part of their culminating project in the Grade 12 Geomatics course.  The project was titled Buying Your First Home.  Students were given the following instructions:
 
After many years of living at home and/or renting apartments, you have decided to buy your first home.  According to the "Toronto Life Real Estate Guide", there are 238 distinct neighbourhoods in Toronto.  Your task is to use your expertise in GIS to choose a community and home in Toronto that best fits your needs and means.
