Description
The York Region Official Plan has identified substantial population growth in the Region with comparable growth in employment by 2021. Most of this growth is planned around the existing urban centres of York Region. To support this development, increased capacity in the York Durham Sewage System (YDSS) is required. All future infrastructure projects are reviewed against the York Region Official Plan, the Provincial Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan and Greenbelt Plan. This map illustrates Regional and Provincial Land Use Designations along with the Transportation and Works 10 Year Capital Plan for Water Infrastructure.
