Description
Kitchener is a cosmopolitan community located in the heart of southwestern Ontario, Canada. The Kitchener Atlas displays some of the information contained in the City's GIS including cadastral lines, building footprints, road pavement, driveways, sidewalks, fire hydrants, surface water, and land use classes among other features.

Just over 93,000 addresses are labeled including 8,500 horizontal units and 1900 pending addresses. All labeling is done dynamically using Maplex; there is no dropped text. The Atlas is intended to be used primarily by staff as a general quick reference and can be updated on demand in addition to the yearly editions.
