Description
The State of Environment Reporting Unit of the British Columbia Ministry of Environment has published documents from a comprehensive study with the goal of reporting on the coastal and marine environment of the province. Numerous indicators were selected through consultation with technical experts and were divided into nine themes: Population Pressure, Impacts of Economic Activities, Health of Coastal Ecosystems, Biodiversity, Ecosystem Protection, Fisheries, Climate Change, Industrial Contaminants, and Stewardship. Experts worked on data analysis and wrote technical background papers that formed the basis for the "Alive and Inseparable".
