Adopt-a-School Program

Just think of what life would have been like if you had ArcView when you were in school! Today, you can give students opportunities that you didn't have by Adopting a School!

Those companies using ESRI's software can choose to sponsor a school in the "Adopt-A-School Program". This program encourages companies to become active in their community, and to encourage the education of today's students, with respect to GIS. In addition, ESRI would like to encourage GIS users at these companies to work with their local schools and libraries, sharing information and expertise, helping the general public learn how to explore their world. And while the Schools and Libraries Bundle contains a vast amount of data, ESRI would like to encourage users to share local data with schools and libraries to give a community based perspective to GIS education.
