Settlement in Canada

In order to understand our country today, we must look to the past. This exercise focuses on early European settlement patterns in Canada. These initial patterns created a framework for the future growth of Canada, creating the nation that we have come to know today.

All data used in ArcView 9.2 must be projected. There is one ArcCanada dataset (province.shp for Sask.) needed for this lesson which is not projected. Click the .exe file or the winzip file to download the projected version of the dataset.
