Description
This map was created as a final plan of the City of Moncton concert site located near Magnetic Hill. This site started out as a field with minimal utilities, and a monument to the Pope, who visited the site in September of 1984. All of the assets shown on this map were located with high precision RTK GPS. This GPS pickup was done during the construction stages of the project, and was used by the concert planner / promoter to help make important decisions regarding the locations of various concert structures. The surrounding information is illustrating the various uses GIS had in the planning and preparation of the concert events.
