Description
The purpose of this project was to visualize what the Prince Wind Farm would look like before it was constructed. Using ESRI 3D Analyst, a digital elevation model of the landbase was developed to simulate the area of undertaking.

Then using the GPS locations of the access roads and proposed locations for the wind turbines, 3D towers were displayed using ArcScene to visualize what the wind farm would look like from the air, water, and land. With the Prince Wind Farm now nearly complete, actual photos from the air show what the Prince Wind Farm looks like in comparison to the generated 3D visualization.
