Description
York Region Geomatics redesigned and enhanced the York Region Street Atlas, incorporating new technologies for map book creation, and efficient geospatial update processes.

Design modifications were made to improve ease of use and navigation for emergency response. This includes the addition of 30 layers of information, key maps, UTM reference grid, index for locating street names and points of interest with an alpha numeric reference, scales for urban and rural areas, and an overlap area to provide continuity for features across pages of the publication.
