Description
The picturesque Southern Chilcotin Mountains area in south central B.C. with its vast, historic trail system has become increasingly popular for varied recreational use.  This combined with extensive wilderness value has led to the creation of two parks:  Big Creek Provincial Park and the Spruce Lake Protected Area (SLPA).  Currently, the SLPA is under government review to reduce its boundaries. In an effort to raise awareness of the area this first-ever, accurate trail map was constructed.  Numerous detailed GPS surveys were conducted on foot from 2003-2005 to measure route, trail, track and backroad positions.
