Who should use this form?

Update to 9.x Request is for existing Concurrent Use ArcGIS customers who wish to receive 9.x license files for ArcInfo, ArcEditor, ArcView and their extensions.

For 9.x Single Use software (ArcView, ArcEditor, and extensions), 9.x Server software (ArcSDE, ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server and extensions), and 9.x Developer software (ArcGIS Engine), please use the Product Registration page.

Updating licenses will result in the generation of 2 license files for each server you update, both of which must be installed to comply with the licensing agreement.

Before proceeding, please read, understand and accept the terms stated below concerning the upgrade of license files.


PRODUCT REGISTRATION/LICENSE MANAGEMENT TERMS

You acknowledge and agree that use of ESRI software, data, and documentation is subject to the terms and conditions of the current ESRI license agreement, unless superseded by a signed license agreement between the parties. ESRI is willing to provide the license files to you only on the condition that you accept these provisions and the terms and conditions in the ESRI license agreement. Any new licenses and updates of existing software licenses require new license files. If you are updating existing licenses, you will receive a license file for the updated licenses and a separate license file for any licensed software you elect not to update, if any. During a reasonable transition period during an update, you may continue to use the license file for the earlier software version while you use the updated license file for those software license(s) you elected to update. After the transition period, you agree to remove/deinstall the prior license file(s) and replace such file(s) with the new license file(s) such that the total licenses available for your use shall not exceed the quantity of licenses granted to you. If you agree to these provisions, you may manifest your assent by clicking "I accept these terms" below. If you do not agree to these provisions, then ESRI is unwilling to provide license file(s) to you, and you should click "I do not accept these terms" below, in which case ESRI will not register or provide license file(s) to you.

Please note the changes to the licensing of the following products and extensions:
  • MrSID: MrSID extension updates for ArcGIS 9 will be provided by LizardTech. For information, please contact LizardTech - USA direct (206)652-5211 (http://www.lizardtech.com/), outside the USA (http://www.lizardtech.com/partners/geous).
  • ArcSDE: ArcSDE is now a registered product. Please click the Product Registration Tab to register ArcSDE.
  • ArcSDE Connect: Starting with Version 9.x, ESRI will no longer issue "ArcSDE connect" keycodes. However, "non-trusted" ArcSDE software clients such as ArcView 3.x, MapObjects, or other 3rd party clients will continue to be contractually obligated to purchase the right to connect to an ArcSDE 9 server.
  • ArcIMS: ArcIMS is now a registered product. Please click the Product Registration Tab to register ArcIMS.
  • ArcExpress: ArcExpress is not available at 9.x.
  • StreetMap Europe: StreetMap Europe is not available at 9.x.
