Key Features

There are 3 levels of the PurVIEW product, PurVIEW EXPLORER, PurVIEW, and PurVIEW MX.  These levels reflect varying user needs from simple stereo viewing to powerful tools for 3D feature capture.  

PurVIEW EXPLORER

Review feature data over steroscopic imagery

Requires either ArcView, ArcEditor or ArcInfo and includes the following features:
  • Stereo visualization on demand
  • Thumbnail image composition of the whole project
  • Brightness, contrast and gamma image enhancement
  • Sketch digitizing (2D)
  • ArcGIS direct editing/digitizing (2D)
  • Virtual-ZT surface XYZ tracking
  • Dynamic 3DT feature displays 2D data in 3D for stereo editing or data upgrading
  • Sensor model support for analogue and digital frame cameras (FC)

Optional sensor model support for:
Satellite Imagery  Ikonos, QuickBird (RPC)
Aerial Scanner  Leica ADS40/52 push-broom (AS)

PurVIEW

Review, edit, and digitize 3D features directly to the geodatabase

Requires ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo and includes all the features of PurVIEW EXPLORER plus the following:

  • 3D sketch digitizing
  • 3D ArcGIS geodatabase-direct editing/digitizing
  • Sensor model support for analogue and digital frame cameras (FC)

Optional sensor model support for:
Satellite Imagery  Ikonos, QuickBird (RPC)
Aerial Scanner  Leica ADS40/52 push-broom (AS)

PurVIEW MX

Intensive 3D feature compilation geodatabase direct

Requires ArcEditor or ArcInfo and includes all of the features of PurVIEW Explorer and PurVIEW plus the following:
  • Intensive 3D digitizing
  • Smooth image roaming
  • Interface for 3D digitizing input devices
  • Interactive stereopair georeferencing
  • Support for all 3 sensor models FC, RPC, and AS
