Key Features
ArcGIS StreetMap provides the tools needed to utilize address information as well as leverage street information for routing including
-
Nationwide routing - ArcGIS StreetMap provides point-to-point and optimized routing for SDC-prepared and indexed street networks. The resulting route can be added to your map as a graphic or shapefile-based layer. You can define stops by entering addresses, by using an interactive tool, or by using existing point graphics or point features on your map.

-
StreetMap USA data set (U.S. only) - The StreetMap USA data set provides access to the local street network and reference data for the entire United States such as local landmarks, streets, parks, water bodies, and other features.

In addition, the StreetMap USA data set provides layer properties for labeling and symbology. The map document automatically manages, labels, and draws features such as local landmarks, streets, parks, water bodies, and other features.
-
Control geocoding preferences - Settings are preset, but you can change preferences such as point distance offset, end offset, spelling sensitivity, minimum match score, multiple street intersection connectors, and automatic matching if candidates tie in score.
