EDN Software Library


EDN subscribers receive the latest versions of ArcGIS Server (all editions), ArcGIS Engine Developer Kit, ArcIMS, and ArcWeb Services, with a license that expires when their EDN subscription expires. ArcView is optional and can be licensed for an additional fee. The software included in the EDN subscription is for development and testing purposes only. EDN licenses do not include any rights for deployment or production use.

EDN Web Site

The EDN Web site is a gateway to a global community of GIS developers and provides an easy way for the ESRI development teams to share information, such as code samples, technical articles, Webcasts, and e-mail alerts, with subscribers. The Web site is more than just ESRI sharing information with subscribers; it promotes peer-to-peer sharing.

The Documentation Library is a comprehensive help system that provides a consistent help system across all products. The Documentation Library includes all the resources for ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcSDE, ArcWeb Services, and ArcIMS.

Additional Program Features

Support

The EDN Web site provides support resources for developers. For those developers wanting additional support, EDN subscribers can purchase optional support from ESRI Support Services. The additional support covers all of the EDN products and includes 10 calls/incidents. For information on this addtional support option, contact support@esri.com or your local ESRI distributor.

Training

Developer-focused, instructor-led training is available at a discounted price for EDN subscribers to purchase. The training consists of five days of instruction at an ESRI training facility and is offered to help EDN subscribers be successful with their GIS projects. Suggested Training
