Solutions Overview

ESRI offers PLTS for ArcGIS in a number of solutions for users in different industries. These solutions enable organizations to efficiently produce geospatial data while adhering to industry specific production requirements. Each solution includes PLTS Foundation and industry-specific data models.

PLTS for ArcGIS-Aeronautical Solution

Aeronautical Solution combines cartographic editing tools, database models, aeronautical symbols and styles, and workflow management components to enable a streamlined aeronautical chart production environment. Because the system is completely database-driven, data is truly "one-touch."

PLTS for ArcGIS-Defense Solution

Defense Solution includes production tools for creating National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, formerly National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA), Vector Map Level 1 and 1:250,000-scale Joint Operations Graphic-Air cartographic products and also the Vector Map Level 2 data and 1:50,000-scale Topographic Line Map (TLM) cartographic products.

PLTS for ArcGIS-Mapping Agency Solution

Mapping Agency Solution is designed to efficiently produce and maintain large, intermediate, and small-scale topographic basemap products. It is developed specifically for high-volume topographic database production, maintenance, high-quality cartographic output, and quality control. From source compilation through data editing and cartographic finishing, Mapping Agency Solution provides the tools for an efficient work flow.

PLTS for ArcGIS-Nautical Solution

Nautical Solution is used to produce a seamless nautical database from existing hard-copy sources and perform maintenance on existing data sets.
