It's all about flexibility. Within ArcMap, Parcel Editor gives you comprehensive tools to perform mapping functions such as
  • Parcel splits and merges

  • Subdivision entry

  • Mass attribution

  • Annotation editing

  • CAD file import and manipulation

  • COGO (spreadsheet with the ability to handle non-tangent curves and includes Crandall's adjustment)

  • Centerline and structure addressing

  • Plat Entry

Parcel Editor enables you to maintain parcels and addresses using methods that mimic your current business processes. Default ArcMap tools or custom code, such as XML, or VB scripts, can be added to any default Parcel Editor workflow, or combined to create a new workflow. This enables administrators to create custom workflows that match their organizations' processes for maintaining parcel fabric.

Parcel Editor provides the best combination of core functionality, customized tools, and workflow capabilities to meet the diverse requirements of current and future ArcMap users. It provides the parcel and address maintenance tools to form a sound base for the remainder of our product family: Assessment Office, Land Development Office, and Land Titles Office. Parcel Editor is the foundation for an integrated land records management system.
