French Supplement for ArcGIS 9 Now Available

Toronto, ON - ESRI Canada, a leader in the geographic information systems (GIS) technology in Canada announced the availability of the French Supplement for ArcGIS 9. As a Canadian owned company, ESRI Canada understands the importance of providing products and services in both official languages. ESRI Canada, ESRI France, and several other organizations partnered to provide French language localization and support for ArcGIS 9. The French Supplement for ArcGIS 9 is being provided, at no charge, to all French speaking ESRI Canada users who are currently utilizing ArcGIS 9.

The French Supplement for ArcGIS 9 applies to the user interface for ArcGIS desktop (ArcReader, ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo), ArcGIS extensions (Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, ArcPress, Publisher, and Maplex for ArcGIS), as well as the Visual Basic for Application (VBA) interface. Help files for ArcGIS 9 desktop and manuals in PDF are also included with the French Supplement.
